Abyss is a video work capturing the desperation of Hong Kong people. He thinks that people immerse themselves in cinematic fantasy, but imaginary remains imaginary. He combines various scenes from 10 Hong Kong and Japanese films to reconstruct a 5-minute story of a man who works to survive. California Dreaming runs through the first half of the video, symbolizing the forever-gone memories before becoming an adult who bears the pressure of living and working.
